of our $800K goal raised
We will create a community hub that engages the heart of our city – connecting family, leisure, and worship in one space as a beacon of hope for the drawing of the lost and the raising of a new generation of kingdom-bringers. The full vision will engage our community and catapult the effectiveness of our children’s ministry and Sunday Morning Worship Experience.
As time goes by, our building and environments are becoming increasingly aged and time-stamped. If we are not careful, if we don’t plan for the next season of our church?s life, soon we will talk more about the miraculous things God DID than the miraculous things God is DOING.
FTTC is not a call to a few, but a challenge to ALL to join together to see this vision become a reality. Do you ever think about the world your great grandchildren will live in? What if we could do things now, that could set people in the future up for success? We can.
We know that when men and women come to faith
- Families are better off.
- Kids are better off.
- Communities are better off.
For Those To Come will have a ripple effect and impact the REAL PEOPLE of our community for the next several decades.
We must progress the vision and the glory of God in our community For the sake of Those To Come.
It is our time to
carry the baton.
WANT TO BE INVOLVED, BUT NOT SURE HOW?
Are you enthusiastic about giving to this vision, but not sure where to start? Here are some creative ways to help allocate or free up resources so you can be a part of preparing For Those To Come.
Are there things in your life you can take advantage of less frequently? Maybe it’s fewer Starbucks runs or one less dinner out each week. By decreasing a weekly expense, regardless of what it might be, you can save a significant amount to contribute.
Are there plans you might be making that involve a financial commitment? If so, prayerfully ask God about delaying those plans and using the extra income to contribute.
Often, there are creative ways to save money. Maybe it’s been a while since you got a quote for an existing service. Perhaps you could do some extra comparison or bargain shopping to save funds. For your kids, it could be as easy as saving extra change to give.
A great way to contribute is to give existing assets. Giving your assets to Torch of Faith and letting us sell them eliminates potential capital gains taxes and may increase after-tax proceeds. Please contact the church office for more guidance before committing an asset gift in order to determine its viability for liquidation.
THANK YOU FOR INVESTING IN TORCH OF FAITH
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if we do nothing?
As we give thanks for all that God is doing, it’s important we ask the question, “what if we don’t do anything?” It’s important to know that things won’t stay the same. We are trust and obey. If we are unwilling to reach and disciple the people of our community, the Holy Spirit will simply have to find people who are willing. Things at Torch of Faith Church have always been in a state of growth and change. The excitement and life isn’t found in routine, but in lives being changed, meeting new friends and seeing God move in our own lives. When that happens, people are drawn to Jesus.
How will the money be used?
The money for this campaign will be used to do the bulk of the Auditorium and Kids areas. Our next campaign will complete the rest of the vision.
When will the entire project be completed?
Our goal is to compete Phase 1 in 2021 and Phase 2 in 2025.
How much should I give?
That’s between you and God, but we are asking everyone to make a significant sacrifice. It?s not about equal gifts; it?s about equal sacrifice. The size of the gift will be different, but the size of the sacrifice should be the same.
Will my commitment be made public?
No. Your individual commitment with remain completely confidential.
Will I have an opportunity to revise my commitment?
Yes. You may revise your commitment, either up or down, at any time during the 36 month period by contacting the church office.
Should I direct my regular giving to FTTC when it begins?
No, your gift should be above and beyond your regular giving. Take time to prayerfully consider what gift God is asking you to give.
